Director: Ivy Chang

Ivy Chang and her husband, Peter, are the co-founders of the Orchestra for Talented Youth.

Ivy received her Master's degree in Education from St. Johns University, New York, and her Bachelor's in Drama from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan.

Over the years, Ivy has been involved in various community services. She coordinated educational events and activities for public libraries in Syosset, Elmont, Hicksville, Jericho, and Mineola. She also organized events for "Patron of Art Program" at the New York Institute of Technology as well as multi-cultural Programs at Northport High School and Syosset High School on Long Island. She is currently serving as a director of the Chinese Association of the Town of Oyster Bay.

Ivy has taught language courses for over six years at local colleges and high school continuing education programs on Long Island. She is currently an instructor for the Continuing Education Program at Nassau County Community College. In addition, she works as a Disabilities Program Navigator to help people with disabilities.
